The Croissant Drama Season 2

So, I R&D a recipe I found from Youtube. It was succeed! I even didn’t expect it to be succeed. I will bake again one or two “triangle” today. Yesterday, I only baked 1 triangle along with croissant (recipe from course) so I can compare the result.

The youtube recipe was success. It had pores or holes inside. Very beautiful. It was just the taste. I think, I can’t eat it that plain. It’s a bit salty; So, I think it would be good if there is a filling like beef slice or egg.

The course recipe, as usual, couldn’t bloom like the youtube one. It had no pores or hole inside. When I saw the layers on the triangle, before i rolled it, it looked very very nice layers. So I was hoping it would be good. Yet, until yesterday, nothing happened. Still small size.

Both recipe are way different, so is the technique. I’m a bit confused here. How come the result is soooooooo far different? I’m thinking some ideas.

I will make a change a bit on the course recipe. I hope it will be succeed. Yet, before that, I must finish 2 more dough in my freezer. Haha. So many dough. I eat croissant every breakfast now. Feeling like having breakfast at hotel, eh.
